In the Arabesque collection Diana draws her inspiration from the vast Kingdom of Morocco, a rich and vibrant civilisation both ancient and modern. Arabesque is a fusion between African and European civilizations and Diana brings together contrasting design elements that mirror the cultural mix of Berbers. Arabs and Africans intermingling with Muslim, Jewish and Christian influences present in Morocco.

 

Whilst all the other collections are finished with a high polish, the Arabesque jewellery pieces are rendered in a brushed metal finish. This gives each piece an ancient aura which contrasts beautifully with the modern glimmer of SWAROVSKI ® crystals.

 

The Blues, reds, blacks, greens and light turquoise crystals depict the more picturesque Moroccan and Arabesque mosaic and tile craft so typical of the Imperial city of Fes.

 

Each creation is complimented with the unconventional combination of industrial black rubber or delicate organza ribbons with brushed metal pieces.
